Important Notice
Hollout helps people find each other, chat, and make plans. It can help you discover nearby people, groups, events, workout buddies, and businesses, but it does not run the real-world activity, handle the payment, or guarantee what another person or business will do offline.
01 What Hollout Does
1.1 What you can use Hollout for
Hollout gives you tools to discover people and opportunities nearby, and to communicate inside the app. Depending on the part of the product you are using, that can include:
- Discovery for people, groups, events, workout buddy requests, and businesses
- Chat, replies, and coordination tools
- Voice calls, video calls, media sharing, and safety nudges where supported
- Profiles, filters, and visibility settings
- Reviews, feedback, attendance or pass signals, and similar trust cues
- Blocking, reporting, and moderation controls
- Ads, promotions, and paid feature tiers in some experiences
1.2 What Hollout does not take on
Hollout does not own, run, supervise, or control the real-world people, groups, venues, workouts, services, or businesses you may come across through the app. Hollout is also for adults only; users must be at least 18 years old.
- We do not provide escrow, buyer protection, or fund recovery
- We do not handle payments for deals made off-platform
- We do not promise that an event will happen or that a person will show up
- We do not guarantee the quality, legality, safety, licensing, or fitness of any offer or participant
- We do not perform professional background checks unless we clearly say so for a specific feature
02 Badges, Reviews, and Trust Signals
2.1 How to read them
Some profiles, accounts, or businesses may show badges, reviews, or other trust signals. These can be useful, but they should be treated as context, not certainty.
- A badge or signal is not a guarantee of identity, safety, quality, or future conduct
- Reviews, ratings, attendance records, or workout feedback are signals, not promises
- Things can change after a badge is granted or content is posted
2.2 No endorsement
If Hollout displays a profile, business, event, review, or badge, that does not mean Hollout is endorsing, recommending, certifying, or guaranteeing that person, business, organizer, or activity.
03 Use Your Judgment
3.1 Do your own checking
Before you meet someone, join a group, attend an event, start a workout session, or deal with a business, take a moment to check what matters to you.
- Confirm identities, schedules, prices, venue details, and expectations for yourself
- Use public places and trusted contacts for first meetings when it makes sense
- Check outside sources when researching a business, event, or organizer
- Do not rely only on in-app badges, reviews, or messages
3.2 You are responsible for your own actions
You are responsible for your business updates and anything else you share, what you agree to, and how you behave on and off the platform. That includes following the law and following our Terms of Service.
04 Safety Tools & Moderation
4.1 What our safety tools can do
Hollout includes safety tools such as reporting, blocking, message limits, review systems, and moderation actions.
- We may review reports and restrict content, chats, features, or accounts
- We may use automated rules and human review to spot scams, abuse, or unsafe behavior
- We may remove or limit content that appears risky, deceptive, or abusive
4.2 What those tools cannot do
No moderation system can prevent every harmful act or verify every real-world claim in advance. Even when we take action, you should still use caution and make your own decisions.
05 Limits of Liability
5.1 The service is provided as-is
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Hollout is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that any user, business, event, or listing will be accurate, complete, lawful, safe, or successful.
5.2 Real-world choices are still yours
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Hollout is not liable for injuries, losses, property damage, missed events, dissatisfaction, scams, disputes, service quality issues, or other harm that comes from your interactions with other users, groups, organizers, workout partners, venues, or businesses.
Important Reminder
Hollout does not take responsibility for off-platform payments, in-person meetings, transport, lodging, fitness instruction, medical outcomes, business performance, or compliance by third parties. Some places do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
06 Reporting & Emergencies
6.1 Report problems quickly
If you encounter harassment, scams, impersonation, unsafe solicitations, fake events, deceptive workout requests, or other policy violations, report them through the app when available or email us at [email protected].
6.2 If it is urgent, get local help first
If you are in immediate danger or believe a crime or emergency is occurring, contact local law enforcement or emergency services first. Hollout is not an emergency response service.
07 Indemnity
To the extent allowed by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hollout, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses that arise from your content, your use of the service, your violation of the law, or your violation of our Terms of Service.
08 By Using Hollout
By using Hollout, you acknowledge that you understand this disclaimer and that you remain responsible for your own decisions, due diligence, and real-world conduct.
