This page explains how to delete your Hollout account, what to do if you no longer have access to it, and what happens after we receive a valid deletion request.

01 If You Can Still Sign In

The fastest way to delete your account is inside the app:

  • Open My Account
  • If you have an active subscription, open Premium Access first and manage or cancel it through your app store settings
  • Select Delete Account
  • Complete the identity confirmation step with your sign-in provider
  • Confirm the deletion request

02 Active Subscriptions

Deleting your Hollout account does not automatically cancel billing handled by Apple or Google.

  • If you have an active subscription, cancel it through your App Store or Play Store subscription settings before deleting your account
  • In the app, you can also open Premium Access to manage your subscription
  • Store billing and refunds are handled by the store provider under its own rules

03 If You Cannot Access the App

If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] with the subject line Account Deletion Request.

To help us find the right account, include information such as:

  • The email address linked to your Google or Apple sign-in
  • Your username, if you have one
  • Which sign-in provider you normally use
  • Any other identifying detail that helps us verify ownership

We may ask for a reasonable verification step before deleting an account we cannot safely identify.

04 What Happens After a Valid Request

  • Your account is removed from live use and discovery
  • We wipe associated account data from our active systems as part of the deletion flow
  • Messages waiting for delivery, active profile media, business content, reviews, workout requests, event records, catalog items, and similar active records are removed or detached as our systems process the deletion
  • Backups may take longer to expire because they are overwritten on a protected backup cycle
  • If we are legally required or reasonably need to keep a narrow record for abuse handling, child safety, image-abuse removal, disputes, billing, fraud prevention, security, or compliance, we keep only what we reasonably need
